The authorities decided to replace the applications-instructions of Polish employers with paid permits for seasonal work. As reported by "Polish Radio", the purpose of such rules is the adaptation of state norms to the legislation of the European Union.

In Warsaw I believe that before this there was no control over the procedure of getting a job on the basis of a declaration of intention to entrust a job to a foreigner, except the fact of registration. Nor was it known on whom and on what conditions a citizen of another state is working and this made it difficult to verify border guards and the State Labor Inspectorate.

In connection with this, since the new year, the period of performance of work on paid permits will not exceed nine months during the calendar year and it is tedious to count from the date of entry of the foreigner into the territory of Poland.

The payment for the document will be PLN 30, and the permit procedure for seasonal work will be in fielding, horticulture, tourism and gastronomy.

Recall, the former president of Poland, Alexander Kwasniewski, said that Ukrainians working in Poland are important for the Poles, since they are developing the economy of this country.
