Statistics presented by the vice-premier - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Gennady Zubko.
According to him, the war in the east of Ukraine took more than 250,000 people who were actually able-bodied, and the conflict led to mass migration abroad. Zubko believes that it is necessary not only to raise the subsistence level of a person, but also to establish social infrastructure and attract investments for small and medium-sized businesses.
The official cited the example of salaries in neighboring Poland - this is 800-1000 euros, which is enough for a man not only to eat and pay for utilities, but also to help his relatives in Ukraine, spend money on clothes and entertainment.
An employee who goes to Poland receives a salary of 800-1000 euros, or 25-30 thousand hryvnia, in Ukraine this figure should be 16 thousand hryvnia per month, Zubko asserts.
As reported in URA-Inform, Gennady Zubko believes that Ukraine is able to significantly reduce the consumption of natural gas.
