40-year-old installer of tower cranes can go to the colony-settlement for 2.5 years for the fact that it was his fault that the crane crashed on the construction site on Kuibyshev Street. A man is judged in accordance with part 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of safety rules in the conduct of construction and other works, if this entailed inadvertently the infliction of major damage, resulting in the death of a person through negligence).

The incident occurred on February 26, 2016. On the construction site on Kuibyshev Street, the tower crane was unloaded from the car. Due to improper adjustment, the upper part of the crane collapsed. The crane operator suffered severe head and limb injuries and died. In addition, the fall caused damage to the owner of the car in the amount of 10 million rubles.

The prosecutor presented evidence to the court that the fall was due to the fact that the defendant had poorly mounted the valve on the construction site and did not check his technical condition.

The prosecutor's office asked the prisoner for 2 years and 6 months of the colony of the settlement and deprivation of the right to engage in professional activities related to organizational and administrative functions in the construction and repair work for a period of 3 years. The verdict is scheduled for December 28, 2017.
