About 1 212 644 Ukrainians as tourists visited Turkey in 2017, which is more than 23 percent more than in 2016. Thus, Ukraine ranks seventh in the top ten countries with the largest tourist flows in the direction of Ankara. Antalya, Istanbul and resorts of the province of Mugla are popular for our citizens: Fethiye, Dalaman, Bodrum and Marmaris and other resorts on the Mediterranean coast.
It is noteworthy that the number of Ukrainians who choose a resort on the Black Sea coast is 15 percent less. The largest number of Ukrainians can be found in Antalya - 710 thousand citizens visited the city during 11 months of 2017, and this figure only continues to increase in December.
As reported in URA-Inform, the flow of tourists from Ukraine to Turkey this year crossed the mark of one million people for the first nine months, while in 2016 such indicators were achieved only in December.
