There are ongoing measures to eliminate traffic jams that have formed over 7.5 kilometers. Congestion occurred as a result of icing of the roadway.

According to the press service of the State Emergency Service, in order to clear the section of the highway from the ice and the final release of cargo vehicles left on the roadside, the movement of all vehicles, which is sent from the direction of the White Church towards Odessa and from Zhashkov towards Kiev, is still limited.

In this case, cars are alternately towed by 19 tractor units.

Of the drifts, 402 vehicles have already been released, - rescuers told, adding that only 49 units of equipment and 111 people have been attracted to the elimination of congestion on the route Kyiv-Odessa at the moment. There are also two heating points for people.
