The first unmanned trains in Turkey will run on the section of the Uskudar-Sandzhaktepe metro station.
Nine stations will operate on the main section of the new 10.5 km line.
The complete metro line will consist of 16 stations and will be able to transport about 700,000 passengers daily.
The new metro line will be integrated with the two major transport arteries of Istanbul - the ground-based Metrobus and the underground Marmaray.
As previously reported in "URA-Inform", at the metro station "Zoloti Vorota" there was a point of recharging mobile devices. The mobile recharge station was recently installed in the lobby of the Zoloti Vorota station - just near the press kiosk.
