Radio Liberty reports this.

According to the words of the representative of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory Anna Baikenich, if the bill is adopted, nine non-working days will be introduced next year.

In particular, four non-working days are state holidays: Constitution Day, Independence Day, Defender's Day and Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation - May 8. One day off is the International Labor Day, and four more days off are traditional holidays:

Trinity, New Year, Christmas and Easter, "noted the representative of the Ukrainian National Memory Institute Anna Baikenich.

At the same time, the document proposes to cancel the practice of postponing the weekend, when the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday. Then the total number of holiday holidays depending on the specific year can be reduced to 6-8 days.

Recall, as reported by the wound "URA-Inform", at the time of the New Year and Christmas holidays, traffic on the street Khreschatyk in Kiev will be allowed.
