Ukrainian national loukoster will start work from March 2018

Such data was told at a press conference by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan.

According to the minister, the SkyUp carrier will carry out domestic flights, work on a low-cost model and also on international destinations.

Thus, the newly created airline will carry out charter flights from Kiev, Kharkov, Lviv and Odessa in 2018, as well as from other cities of Ukraine in 16 directions.

In addition, international scheduled flights in 2018 are planned to be performed from Kiev to Barcelona, ??Dubai and Larnaca. And as for domestic flights, they will be launched in late May - early June and at the first stage will be carried out from Odessa to Kiev, Kharkiv and Lviv.



At the same time, the cost of the flight will be formed according to the low-cost model without taking into account luggage and additional services.

To date, the airline's fleet comprises three Boeing 737-800 NG (2001, 2002 and 2011). In 2018 the company plans to increase the fleet to four boards, in 2019 - to 6, in 2020 - to 8, 2021 - to 10, 2022 - to 12.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, one of the largest airfreight airlines in Europe - Wizz Air launches new flights from London next year, including to Lviv. In particular, the cost of tickets will be from 29.99 euros.
