This conclusion was made by independent researchers of the statistical atlas De bosatlas van de veiligheid, in which they assessed various dangers in the Netherlands.
Researchers came to the conclusion that the Netherlands is becoming a safer place, mainly due to informing the public and preventing problems.
This reduces the proportion of deaths associated with the human factor (from terrorist attacks to car accidents). And the number of victims of natural disasters, allergies or the same bees, on the contrary, is growing, writes EuroPulse.
The authors also note that the Dutch attach great importance to "spectacular" dangers - accidents and disasters, which actually fall to the lot of a few. And threats that concern everyone (such as dust or excessive exposure to the sun) go unnoticed.
