Recall, on October 31, 2015, Korban was detained during a special operation of the SBU. He was suspected of organizing a criminal group that abducted people. Also, Korban was suspected of stealing 40 million hryvnias collected for the volunteers of the ATU.

Then the court elected him a measure of restraint in the form of round-the-clock house arrest and at the end of 2015 the Dnieper Court of Kiev placed him in the jail of Kiev. However, after a series of scandalous court hearings in mid-March 2016, Korban was again placed under house arrest in the Dnieper. And in June 2016, Korban changed the measure of restraint from a 24-hour house arrest for a personal commitment.
