The government aims to eliminate up to 2020 queues in kindergartens, and city heads and chairmen of regional state administrations should join the solution of this issue. This was said by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman during his meeting with representatives of regional media.

"I set the task until 2020 to eliminate queues in kindergartens. This is number one issue - and I will demand from city heads, OGA chairmen to support (this decision). Ukrainian children should not stand in lines, "Groisman's press service quoted the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the number of places in gardens and preschool institutions by 2020 should reach 96 thousand. This completely satisfies the existing need of society. In this context, the Head of Government stressed that the construction of pre-school institutions and kindergartens should be a priority of projects financed by the State Regional Development Fund. According to the State Budget for 2018, the financing of the GDRD will be 6 billion UAH.
