The organization is confident that as a result of bribery and other corruption cases, the global economy loses more than five percent of GDP, and in most developing countries that struggle against corruption, this figure can reach 10 percent or more. The total amount of financial losses or inadequacies due to corruption for the domestic economy of different countries at the moment is two and a half trillion dollars.

The head of UNDP's Peacebuilding Support Department, Patrick Keulers, is alarmed by this situation, because poverty is on the other side of the bribe-takers and poverty is aggravated by distortions in the distribution of revenues and decisions on public spending, as reported in URA-Inform, the UN is ready to discuss the human rights situation in Ukraine.
