In Kamyshlov, the trial of Mikhail Chukharev, former head of the city's district, continues. From December 2013 to April 2014, the official, knowing that the construction of two houses along the Stroiteley Street in Kamyshlov, intended for the resettlement of citizens from emergency and dilapidated housing, was not actually completed, signed the certificates of work performed and paid for them. During the trial, the prosecution asked Chukharev for 7 years in prison, and also that he return 18 million rubles to the budget, the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region.

According to the investigation, in November 2013 the administration of the Kamyshlovsky urban district concluded a municipal contract with one of the organizations for the construction of two low-rise apartment buildings on the territory of Kamyshlov under the program "Relocation of citizens from an emergency housing stock in the Sverdlovsk region, taking into account the need for low-rise housing construction in 2013 -2014 years ".

To finance the execution of the contract, funds were raised from the state corporation Fund for the Assistance to Reforming the Housing and Communal Services, the budget of the Sverdlovsk Region, as well as the budget of the Kamyshlovsky urban district. The contract expired in October 2014, the acts of the executed works were signed by the head of administration of the Kamyshlovsky urban district and the head of the general contractor.

In fact, in two houses for 18 and 32 apartments there were no internal networks (electricity, running water, sewerage), no internal finishing, whereas the construction of these houses had to be completed "turnkey" with a finishing finish.

In total, the amount of deficiencies was over 18 million rubles.

In May of this year, in order to exclude the influence of the official on the course of the investigation, the investigator of the SKR through the court dismissed Chukharev from the post of mayor. In addition, his property (a non-residential building and shares in the authorized capital of organizations) is seized.

The debate of the parties, in which the defense should come forward, will continue on December 7, 2017.
