Law enforcers together with representatives of the prosecutor's office conducted an investigation in the criminal case on the territory of the region and found underground warehouses. According to the press service of the Kyiv city prosecutor's office, during the investigation, about 28 tons of alcohol mixture was found and seized in warehouses, and the necessary equipment for filling it.

All the seized counterfeit products were planned to be distributed, in particular, in the territory of Kiev and the region.

The police are opened on this fact a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Illegal manufacture, storage, sale or transportation with the purpose of selling excisable goods.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, metropolitan law enforcement officers conducted 12 searches in an underground shop for the production of alcohol. Also, searches were made in warehouses with falsified products. As a result, law enforcement officers seized counterfeit alcohol in the amount of 1.2 million hryvnia.
