On Wednesday night, customs officers stopped two cars with concealed cargo. According to the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine, 310 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps were found in the specially equipped cavity of the fuel tank of the Daewoo vehicle at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint.
Then, at the checkpoint "Ustilug", in another car, 789 packs of cigarettes were found using a service dog trained to search for tobacco. At the same time, tobacco products were hidden in the double bottom of the car "Citroen".
Both drivers are Ukrainian citizens who were traveling to Poland. In total, border guards seized more than a thousand packs of cigarettes without excise stamps and cars, the press service said..
