The International Olympic Committee (IOC) for life suspended from the participation in the Olympic Games bobsledder Alexander Kasyanov, Alexei Pushkarev and Ilvir Khuzin. The reason was the violation of anti-doping rules, the press service of the organization.
Kasyanov's crew at the Olympic Games in Sochi took fourth place in the competitions of the deuces (with Maxim Belugin) and fours (with Khuzin, Pushkarev and Belugin).
Athletes were to become bronze medalists of the Games-2014 because of the disqualification of the Russian-conquered crews of Russian Alexander Zubkov, also recognized by the IOC as guilty of violating the anti-doping rules. The case of the fourth bobsledder of Belugin's crew will also be considered by the IOC Commission.
All three are now banned from performing at the Olympic Games and attending any events held under the auspices of the IOC.
Earlier in November, the IOC commission deprived the Russian national team of 10 medals OI-2014.
