This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

The resolution refers to amendments to the Model Land Lease Agreement, conservation and reproduction of soil fertility.

It is expected that the decision will help protect the interests of landlords - land owners, as well as increase revenues to local budgets.

The adopted improvements envisage fixing in the lease agreement indicators of qualitative characteristics of the soil cover of the land plot at the time of its transfer to the lease. And also compensation to the lessor of losses in case of deterioration of quality of soil of the rented ground area or its putting in an unusable state.

It also provides for the establishment of a payment term for the lease payment for the use of the land plot and the strengthening of liability in the event of its late payment (penalty, penalty).

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the IMF, which promised another tranche of Ukraine in one billion dollars, is in no hurry to part with money. Ukraine, in turn, according to European experts should meet a number of requirements, implement reforms. The main ones are: pension and land.
