India first launched a cruise missile from the aircraft

The launch of the BraMos cruise missile was conducted on a surface target in the Bay of Bengal and was recognized as completely successful.

At present, BraMos cruise missiles are in service with the Army and Indian Navy.

To integrate with the Su-30MKI fighter, the missile was lightened by about 500 kg. Now its weight is 2500 kg.

It is noted that the flight to test the BrahMos aircraft missile was carried out by two aircraft. One was the carrier of the rocket, from the second was the shooting of tests from engine start to target destruction.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, from the Wallops Island in the US state of Virginia, the medium-class launch vehicle Antares-230. It was built with the participation of Ukrainian specialists.
