On Tuesday, November 21, Ukrainians celebrate the Day of Dignity and Freedom and the fourth anniversary of the beginning of EuroMaidan.

Today in the Heavenly Avenue in Kiev hundreds of activists and veterans of the ATO laid flowers in memory of the dead heroes of the Maidan. Among those who came - the participants of those times, the disabled, relatives and friends of the deceased.

The laying took place at the memorial on the very spot where on February 20, 2014 activists of the Maidan, who were moving towards the Administration of the President of Ukraine, came under fire. Then 53 people died.

The Day of Dignity and Freedom is established in honor of the beginning of this day of two revolutions:

the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Dignity Revolution of 2013 and is a kind of successor to the Freedom Day holiday, which was celebrated in honor of the Orange Revolution from 2005 to 2011 on November 22.
