This is reported by DW.

As the executive director of Alphabet, Eric Schmidt, Russian propaganda sites often appear when searching for news on Google. Therefore, we need to look for technical solutions that will prevent this.

Also, the director Alphabet stressed that their company does not want to block these sites - it's not their way of working.

"I strongly disapprove of censorship and advocate for ranking. This is what we are doing, "Schmidt added..

At the same time, Roskomnadzor intends to ask Google to clarify what the term "ranking" means literally, in relation to Russian companies Russia Today and Sputnik.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", special services of the Russian Federation using fake news are trying to influence the public opinion on the crash of MH17 flight, which occurred in the Donbass in the summer of 2014.
