Head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko and his assistants can sign new contracts with the Football Federation of Ukraine with a decrease in their salaries. This was reported by the channel "Football 1".
According to the source, Shevchenko and his staff agree with this option and are ready to sign new agreements.
Earlier it was reported that Andrei Shevchenko will continue to work as head coach of the Ukrainian team at least until the end of the Euro-2020 selection, although the new contract with a specialist has not yet been formally signed.
Under the leadership of the coaching staff of Shevchenko, the Ukrainian team took the third place in the selection for the World Cup in 2018 and did not even get into the play-offs.
