The department assures that by the winter period in the capital it is worthwhile to prepare in advance, because a slow response to sudden changes in weather conditions often lead to massive traffic accidents, as well as traffic collapses and traffic jams, and therefore it is necessary to ensure timely response and road safety in in case of sharp deterioration of weather conditions.
At the moment, 345 vehicles are ready for cleaning streets. The municipal authorities warned that in 27 streets of the capital a possible ban on the movement of vehicles due to urgent snow removal.
As reported in URA-Inform, weather forecasters in Ukraine predict that already on October 24 and 25 the temperature in the country will drop to two degrees at night, and in the beginning of November one should expect the first snow.
