The Polish city of Kotovice received the best rating among the European cities included in the rating of the road traffic in the cities of the world.

Kotovice took 162 place out of 189 in the ranking (where the 1 st place - the city with the worst traffic jams). The following representatives of EU cities in the rating - the eastern Ruhr agglomeration area in Germany (133rd place) and Budapest (130th).

The European city with the worst traffic jams was Bucharest - the capital of Romania was on the 5th place ranking.

The best positions in the rating are occupied by the cities of the USA.

Russia in the ranking is represented by 5 cities - from the most unfortunate Moscow (13th place) to Nizhny Novgorod (46th place). The worst position in the ranking - the Mexican capital of Mexico City.

The rating assesses the difficulty of traffic in general, as well as in the morning and evening peak hours. For example, in Kotowice, on average, there are 17% more cars on the streets than necessary for traffic without traffic jams. In the morning, cars are 26% higher than normal, and in the evening - by 30%.
