In some areas, German meteorologists recorded wind speeds of up to 176 and 144 kilometers per hour, which, according to the publication, is significantly greater than during the hurricane Xavier, which raged in Germany in early October. In many German cities, especially in the north and east of the country, traffic has stopped because of trees that have poured out heavy winds.
