Here, because of strong winds, the metal structure collapsed onto the gas pipeline. As reported by local media, today the gust of wind reached 22 meters per second.

As a result of the disaster, the 30-meter metal structure fell on the gas pipeline, supplying the whole district with gas.

As a result, without centralized gas supply there were more than 320 houses of the district center.

Now the emergency services of Zaporozhgaz have already begun to eliminate the accident, utilities have to remove the metal structure from the damaged gas pipeline.

Gas operators also noted that the gas supply through the pipeline is blocked. At the same time, utilities do not name the terms of liquidation of the accident and the restoration of gas supply in the village.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in western Ukraine, suddenly came this winter. So, on the section between the village of Nizhnie Vorota of the Transcarpathian region and Skole town of the Lviv region, snow was heavily covered with snow.
