"The deficit with doctors is acute - about 900 doctors do not have enough medical organizations of state ownership. Last year 116 young specialists arrived in the Crimea. But many of them go to work in private clinics, or even leave health care, "- said the so-called Minister of Health of Crimea Alexander Golenko.
According to him, that young specialists abandon the profession of a doctor "unable to withstand the severity of responsibility for the life and health of patients".
In 2018, 55 specialists will be recruited to work in the rural regions of the peninsula according to the Zemsky doctor's program.
In the spring of 2017, doctors in Kerch complained of low salaries, cancellation of payments, lack of equipment and repairs in medical institutions.
