In the region, also because of fallen trees, traffic in the Yablunytsky pass is partly blocked. As the press service of the head of Transcarpathian regional state administration Gennady Moskal reports, today in the afternoon the weather in Transcarpathia deteriorated sharply.

As a result of heavy snow and gusts of wind, many trees have fallen to the highlands. So, on the Yablunytskyi pass on the border of Transcarpathia and Ivano-Frankivsk region, the fallen trees partially blocked the traffic.

Rescuers have already left the scene of the accident, which free the passage.

At the same time, according to Moskal, road builders pour asphalt covering with special mixtures.

As of seven o'clock in the evening, because of the interruption of power lines and short circuits, altitude settlements of the Rakhiv district of Belin and Kvass, and in part Yasinya and Rakhiv. Emergency power brigades are working on the restoration of power supply, - explained the Head of the State Administration.
