The ex-fighter of the 92nd mechanized brigade defended his legal right to preferential travel through the court, and also forced the defendant to compensate him for moral damage. This man told NewsRoom.

Andrei Mikitenko was mobilized in the army in 2014, he fought near Ilovaisky, and at the end of 2015 he was demobilized. "On a citizen" ATOchnik had to deal with health - it was necessary to treat the consequences of concussion. From the Zachepilovsky district, Andrei often had to travel to the Kharkov hospital. At the "native" bus station veteran without any problems provided a preferential travel, and in Kharkov - constantly refused.

"I applied to the protection service of veterans, in" Ukrtransbezopasnost ". I received letters with comments, but nobody could influence the bus station. Not once appealed to the police, but recorded my appeal only once, - indignant Andrei Mikitenko. - I went to a sanatorium in western Ukraine, bought a discount ticket without problems, in Kiev and the Dnieper, too, was without precedent. And in Kharkov it happens all the time ".

According to the participant in the hostilities, the Kharkov bus station shifted the blame to the carriers: they say, they limit the sale of preferential tickets. Nevertheless, Andrew always received his legal ticket, but - "with fights", writes NR.

"The boiling point" a man reached when he had before his eyes a young soldier did not sell a discount ticket. The veteran helped the guy, and after - decided to go to court to correct the injustice.

"I was shocked by the fact that they do not act humanly. I applied for legal aid and I was given a lawyer. Then there was a trial that lasted more than a year. The process was delayed, sessions were postponed, the judge changed, "- says Andrei Mikitenko.

The veteran recalls that during the court sessions the representatives of the bus station did not recognize their guilt and even asked to bring the carrier to justice. Despite the victory, the decision of the court ATOchnik was not entirely satisfied. Andrei Mikitenko also demanded from the defendant to compensate him moral damage in the amount of 20 thousand hryvnia. The court granted the petition, but reduced the amount of payment to 1,000.

"I want to appeal, to oblige the bus station to sell discounted tickets. After all, it's not just me, but the rest of the guys, "says a veteran of the ATU.

Representatives of the "Kharkov bus station plant" (it is under this legal entity works Kharkiv bus station) were laconic.

"We can not comment at the moment, because the court's decision has not entered into legal force," commented the lawyer of the company Victoria Ivanovna.

Andrei Mikitenko's lawyer also adheres to the same position in court: the lawyer said he would be ready to talk about the progress of the process after the appeal.
