Motor (transport) insurance bureau (MTIBU) has introduced the information system Electronic euro-protocol since October.
This was reported in the press office of the Bureau.
Now, with the help of the Electronic Euro-Protocols system in Ukraine, it became possible to issue the Euro-protocol not only in paper but also in electronic form.
"In accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the MTIBU dated July 13 of this year No. 403/2017, since October the europrotocol, executed using this system, is a complete analogue of the Euro-protocols sent or presented to the insurer in paper form," reads the report..

Electronic evroprotokol system provides for the introduction of the basic data necessary for the design proprotokola, traffic accident participants, their auto-completion data centralized database (CDB) MTIBU. In addition, it will automatically inform insurers about the onset of an accident.
Also, Euro-protocols, filled in electronic form, practically exclude errors in filling them. Thus, the cases of refusal of unscrupulous insurers to compensate for losses on formal grounds for the presence of errors, which are difficult to avoid when formulating a paper blank.
Based on the completed circumstances of the accident, the system will offer a set of typical road accident schemes from which one can choose the one that fully corresponds to the circumstances of the accident, and if none of the proposed schemes is suitable, the road accident scheme must be compiled independently, photographed and placed in accordance with the instructions systems.
