In Nevyansk residents of several streets were left without cold water. The prosecutor's office started the verification of this fact. As reported in the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region, according to preliminary information, on October 2, 2017, the workers of the contractor organization, carrying out major repairs of Lenin Street, showered the sewer well with asphalt. This led to a malfunction of the water disposal system.

To eliminate the emerged emergency situation, cold water supply for consumers living along the streets of Lenin, Malyshev, Maxim Gorky, Chapaev, Kosmonavtov. The necessary repairs are carried out on the main sewer. According to preliminary estimates, the completion of the work is scheduled for October 3.

Currently, the Nevyansk City Prosecutor's Office conducts an audit of this fact, during which all the circumstances of the incident will be established.

In particular, a legal assessment will be given of compliance with the regulatory deadlines for the elimination of an emergency situation, ensuring the rights of citizens to ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities.

Based on the results of the audit, if there are grounds, measures will be taken by the prosecutor's response.
