German media spread information about the discovery of two people, probably related to the crimes of the Nazis during the Third Reich, the Associated Press reported on Thursday.

We are talking about 94-year-old Kurt State and 95-year-old Herbert Veler. Both suspects admitted earlier that their names were listed on the SS lists, but denied direct involvement in the execution of war crimes.

The international organization for the search for Nazi war criminals - the Simon Wiesenthal Center - passed the data on the State Department and Weller to the German authorities as early as 2014.

In this case, the German television channel ARD, which on Thursday night released data on the suspects, suggests that they are related to the most inhuman crimes during the Third Reich. In particular, we are talking about Babi Yar, where tens of thousands of innocent children, women and men were killed in 1941.

According to a recent judicial precedent, the AP notes that a criminal case can be instituted against suspects even if they provided indirect assistance to the Nazis.
