This is reported by Ukravtodor on its Facebook page.

This decision was made in connection with the low level of security on Ukrainian roads. As you know, this is one of the highest levels of injuries and road deaths in the world.

The report also notes that in 2016, about 4003 people died on the road and more than 31 600 people were injured.

"The total annual losses from road accidents in Ukraine are about 40 billion USD," stressed in "Ukravtodor".

Nevertheless, the main problems in Ukraine are a high speed limit in populated areas - 60, 90, 110 km / h. Also high actual speed, free access of pedestrians to roads, a large number of transitions in one level and few transitions in different levels.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", for repair & nbsp roads in Ukraine, the State Fiscal Service sent at least 8.14 billion hryvnia.
