Air travel in modern realities has long been not considered something special. The air way of traveling between cities, countries and continents is not only the fastest, but at times, the cheapest. The tradition of "say thank you" to pilots and flight attendants was born a long time ago. But about those, thanks to whom the aircraft remain safe, we know almost nothing. The editorial staff of JustMedia talked with the leading engineer of S7 ENGINEERING (the largest holding company for servicing aircraft of western and domestic production in Russia and the CIS -. red. ) and learned about the difficulties of work, the hobby of employees and the continuity of generations.

Nothing to be missed This year for 13 years, as I work with aircraft and help them fly. During this time, I went from a simple technique to S7 Airlines, a young specialist who was allowed only to "twist", and then under compulsory control, to the leading engineer at S7 ENGINEERING, who leads the process and people.

My work assumes a huge responsibility - nothing can be missed, everything, every screw, every detail, every element, should be in its place. And, as in any profession, our sphere has its own characteristics. For example, it is not allowed to interrupt work experience even for several months. If this happens, then, according to aviation rules, I will simply not be allowed to independently service the aircraft and I will have to renew my qualification, passing the certification and a special commission.

I know about the planes all. My responsibilities include: maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft, ensuring flight safety and regularity of departures. For the most part I'm engaged in Airbus and Boeing and I can say that I know about these planes all. I know how their systems work, I know all their modifications, technical features and not only - there are no secrets between us any more.

The work with airliners has its own peculiarities - one must take into account their nature. There is no rational explanation for this, but sometimes you are servicing the aircraft, and he "fusses" and "hurts", "brings defects" while the rest of his family does not have problems. But it is necessary to give him a little more attention and care, he, as if in gratitude, becomes "obedient".

The quietest, I would call S7 Airlines - they rarely present such surprises. Friendly, good team - one family. There are planes to which fewer human traits. For example, the A320 and B737NG are hardworking bees.

Certified according to all international standards Only companies certified by aviation authorities can service and repair aircraft. And not only European and Russian, but also the country where the aircraft is registered. Only after proving that the organization meets high international standards and requirements, you can get a certificate. But, even having received it, you must constantly "prove" your compliance with this document. The aviation authorities, checking us, look at everything: procedures, documents, tools and equipment, warehouses, management system, and also to workplaces. Such an inspection takes place several times a year.

Our company, as well as the rest of the holding company Engineering, are certified in accordance with all international standards and currently have the largest number of competencies for aircraft maintenance in our country and the CIS.

The level of professional training is important. The specialist of our profession has to constantly learn - obtaining a profile education is not enough. The aircraft technician should, throughout his career, improve his qualifications and take special courses. And this, I repeat, without interruptions in work experience. The level of our professional training is very important and of great importance - this is also taken into account by the aeronautical authorities when checking for compliance with the right to service and repair aircraft.

S7 ENGINEERING aircraft have permission to carry out almost all types of repairs, up to heavy capital, which is held every 12 years. Now we have certificates that allow us to carry out maintenance of many types of aircraft. It should be noted that each new airliner requires a separate "permit". So, this year in the S7 Airlines park there are new modern aircraft of the Airbus A320neo family. These aircraft, in contrast to the classic A320, have a different engine, a slightly different wing, a different software on-board systems, so the passage of additional training and certification for their maintenance is simply necessary.

The work goes around the clock. The schedule, rules and regulations of service, work cards and the reliability control program of aircrafts are a bit like TO car, only the operations are bigger and the requirements are much more serious. For example, if the car is checked for about ten items: timing, wheels, oil and t. , then there are several hundreds of such items on the plane, and the service is much more frequent than required by the machine.

There are linear types of service, daily, weekly - they are usually held on the airfield, and there are those for which a specially equipped hangar is needed - these are usually forms of service with an interval of one to two years. There are even more complex forms - for example, D-Check, they mean an extensive set of works, the removal and removal of the entire cabin to the "skeleton," or, as we say, "to the pipe".

The aircraft maintenance program may include about 2,000 standard inspections and inspections. In total, at each moment of time up to 30 people can serve one aircraft, which is in heavy form, and work is going around the clock. This can not fail to impress!.

Age for the aircraft is not important The notions of "old" or "new" to aircraft are not entirely applicable, and there is also no such characteristic as a decrease in its reliability due to age. It is important to remember here that on average the design of the airliner is designed for uninterrupted operation for about 30-40 years, and take into account that for each age and operating conditions, their activities are carried out to ensure serviceability and reliability. All this is spelled out in the service regulations. Therefore, it is not always important how old the aircraft is, more importantly, who and how it serves.

For each aircraft, its own maintenance schedule is drawn up - everything is strictly individual, and the electronic production control system constantly monitors compliance with it. Passage of at least one check of the aircraft is simply not possible - the system would immediately send a signal to it both to the airline and to our holding "Engineering". In addition, our specialists perform all the work before the "deadline" with a significant margin on time.

From generation to generation Aviainzhener - work is quite difficult physically. Therefore among us there are no lazy, and almost every one of us is engaged in any kind of sport. I, for example, are a free-style wrestler, I am a candidate for master of sports in judo and sambo, someone is keen on mountain skiing, hockey, someone - table tennis and curling. Among us there is even a yachtsman.

My love for the planes was passed on to my daughter.

She is only five years old, and she is already interested in their design, and often asks questions about them, especially when we watch films together: "What's this? Is that allowed? And this really? And what buttons does the pilot press? ". She knows that I'm helping planes fly and I can tell all about them.

I myself really love to fly a passenger, although now, rather, I perceive the aircraft as a means of transportation - you sit down and fly, there is already no something special for me in this.
