According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the missile launched from the Kapustin Yar test range in the Astrakhan region overcame the maximum range.

According to the ministry, the high-capacity missile overcame 480 km and successfully hit the target at the Makat training ground in Kazakhstan.

Earlier, the RF Ministry of Defense stated that the range and accuracy of the Iskander-M complexes is planned to be increased due to new types of missiles.

In particular, now Iskander-M has at least seven types of missiles, and outwardly they do not differ.

Recall, as previously reported in URA-Inform, a rocket called Vega, which is equipped with a Ukrainian engine, recently successfully brought three satellites into orbit.
