Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), in consultation with the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP), investigate the Krymchak case, found that in 2010-2011, while serving as a Kyiv city council secretary, the official appropriated several plots of land in communal ownership.

Total damage to the city was 500 thousand hryvnia.

NABU reported that the deputy organized a criminal scheme for the sale of illegally alienated land.

He faces 8 years imprisonment without further right to hold public office.
