As explained in the Zolochevsky Regional State Administration, the communications of the station were built in the 1970s and have long since exhausted their resource. Local residents repeatedly appealed to the authorities with complaints of poor sanitation.
In addition, Zolochev continues the reconstruction of sewage treatment plants located in a residential area on Komarova Street.
"The existing capacities of treatment facilities did not satisfy Zolochev's needs. Therefore, it was decided to start reconstruction. The work should be carried out as high as possible in order to avoid the threat of environmental pollution, "said Yevgeny Shakhnenko.
The reconstruction should be completed in November. Funds for the work were allocated from the regional budget.
