The Ministry of Justice initiates a toughening of responsibility of parents for non-payment of alimony.

This was announced at a briefing by the Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko, who is quoted by the Left Bank.

According to him, if the father does not pay alimony for six months, it is proposed to increase their amount, as well as to prohibit him from traveling abroad.

It is also proposed to restrict the father of a child who does not pay child support, the right to drive vehicles.

The Ministry of Justice expects that the bill will be adopted before the end of the year.

Recall that in Ukraine child support for children increased by 20%. The upper limit of payments is 10 subsistence minimums for a child of the corresponding age. The law provides that alimony is the property of the child. Earlier it was written that they belong to the one with whom the child lives.
