According to the information of the department, a 51-year-old citizen of the Czech Republic through the "green corridor" tried to take out valuable stones.
Border guards when inspecting the personal belongings of the owner of the car found different kinds of stones. When asked where a man took these stones he did not give specific information.
All the seized minerals were handed over to the GFS for examination and evaluation.
At the moment, the man is at the above-mentioned checkpoint. Ukrainian authorities have already contacted the Czech consulate in Ukraine.
Note that such contraband is widespread on the western border of Ukraine.
