Weather forecasters warn of heavy rains and thunderstorms on Monday, September 4. According to the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies, referring to the data of Ukrgidromettsentra, by the end of the day there are also thunderstorms in the western regions, in some places hail.

At the same time during a thunderstorm, gusts of wind and squalls can reach 15-20 meters per second.

At the same time in the territory of the Kiev region also to the end of the day is possible hail, - warn in the State Emergency Service.

In this connection, the department is reminded that if the wind is intensified, citizens are advised to tightly close all windows of houses, remove items that can fall out from balconies and loggias, stay away from billboards, power lines, trees.

In addition, in case of strong wind, it is recommended to take shelter in the nearest room or natural shelter, and also to avoid being near large trees.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, on the night of Monday, September 4, snow fell in the Carpathians. Wet snow this night, observed residents of the village Mykulychyn Ivano-Frankivsk region. As reported by local residents in the social network, rain with sleet lasted more than half an hour.
