The protest action "against the destruction of the historical heritage" began with the collection of signatures to the city authorities - hundreds of citizens left their signatures for treatment.
After clashes with the police, activists broke through the cordon of law enforcement officers, dismantled the fence-fence, two of the three floors of the new annexe.
One of the participants was hospitalized - a brick fell on him.
Meanwhile, after the incident, the police opened criminal proceedings under articles 296 and 194 of the Criminal Code - hooliganism and deliberate destruction of citizens' property.
This was announced by the adviser to the head of the Odessa police Ruslan Forostyak.
"The police were not able to take decisive action with the help of force, given the large number of women, elderly people and civilians among the locals in the crowd. The police were forced to surround the scene, in order to prevent possible injuries to citizens. Despite these measures, two of the activists were injured. They were provided with medical care. On the fact of the events, proceedings were opened on Article 296 and 194 of the Criminal Code, "Forostyak.
