The world's tallest sand castle was built in the German city of Duisburg, reports the Main with reference to Channel 5.
A team of artists from several countries worked on the creation. Record officially recorded representatives of the Guinness Book. The height of the castle is almost 17 meters. Decorated with relief images of famous tourist attractions - here and the Athenian Acropolis, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Barcelona Church of the Holy Family.
To create such a structure, it took 3.5 tons of sand - and a month of hard work. The castle was built on the territory of the former steel mill. The initiator and sponsor of the project is a local travel company.
