At the same time, tariffs have doubled and now city residents will pay 1.4 hryvnia per square meter of living space. The corresponding decision of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council agreed on August 4.

At the same time, the mayor of Lviv, Andrei Sadovy explained that when the grounds were overcrowded, it was not correct to take out the issue on adjusting the tariffs to the executive committee, and now when it is clean and the garbage is taken out, everyone must pay.

Carriers for more than a year worked at a loss. They did not receive the funds that they should have received, "said the mayor, adding that the initiators of the tariff increase are urban carriers.

At the same time, Sadovoy assured that the "garbage problem" of Lviv had already been solved, and it was the fact of its decision that allowed the authorities to raise tariffs.

In particular, for new tariffs, the export of a ton of garbage will amount to 719 to 803 UAH. At the same time, tariffs will increase for budgetary institutions, and for legal entities - from 753 to 842 hryvnia per tonne.
