Security officials searched the city council and prominent in business. According to the local newspaper Novosti-N, referring to their sources in the prosecutor's office, at the moment they are searching deputies from the party "Opposition block" Igor Dyatlov, Igor Kopeyka, Andrei Yakovlev, Svetlana Lasuria, as well as entrepreneurs Alexei Pelipas and Vladislav Chaika. Searches also take place at Mikhail Titov, known by the nickname "Cartoon".

In total, about 90 searches are conducted simultaneously in Nikolaev by officers of the military prosecutor's office and the Security Service of Ukraine. All of them are authorized by the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko.

As stated in the court ruling, all the above-mentioned persons are suspected of supplying arms and drugs from the ATU zone.

In turn, the deputy of the Mykolayiv city council Vladislav Entin on his page in the social network noted that searches are also being conducted in the Department of Housing and Utilities and at the house of the director of the enterprise Tsentrolift Sergey Shvets. He, as well as officials of the Mykolayiv city council, is suspected of embezzling budgetary funds under the pretext of the delivery and installation work of the elevator farm.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine on Monday, August 14, conducted a search in the "Ukrgazdobycha".
