Many have already learned to appreciate freedom, have chosen their own way and have decided that they will never leave Ukraine. About me I come from the Lugansk region, the city of Kirovsk, I lived there for 17 years, then I entered the Academy of Internal Troops in Kharkov (now the Academy of National Guard -. "ХН") and at the moment I pass service in part 3017. We can say that he was born in the ATU zone. I have always dreamed of a masculine profession, from childhood I wanted to become a military. I was in the ATU zone in 2014 and 2015, and to this day we are performing combat missions in the Donbass. My very first rotation was in Slavyansk in 2014 after his release. We carried out tasks at the checkpoint as part of the military unit 3035 (Nine Slavic Regiment -. Author). People treated differently: someone with joy, someone not. Although I do not understand them - Ukraine is one, and they, and we are Ukrainians. This is the ATU zone, there can be a danger every day, there were a couple of cases when a sniper worked at the checkpoint. This year I was in the suburb of Avdeevka, although this is considered the second line of defense, but to the front sufficiently close. Being there on one side is difficult, because you are near the house and you can not go there, but we will still do it, because it is Ukraine. I think the occupation is not for long, because our army is developing, growing, we will be able to return our territories. I became a military even before the fighting, my relatives understand perfectly well that it is my duty, and I can not back down, go back home and say: "I do not need it".
About independence It's pride. Our country extracted it by a heavy way and for a very long time. Pride takes for the fact that we are a state, a country, a single whole and we must not lose what we could achieve in 26 years, but on the contrary - rally our people. The main thing is that foreign countries and states do not come to our country, they do not seize our territories.
For me, the greatest independence is that I could serve and know that I, my children have a future.
About Ukraine Over the past three years, when the ATU began, our country has taken a step backward and two steps forward. If we are reforming at such a pace, we will pay more attention to the simple Ukrainian people, then I think that in 10 years Ukraine will be one of the leading powers in the world.
