A little later it was found that he was wanted by his country's law enforcement agencies for misappropriation and embezzlement. The attacker was taken to the territorial police department. The Russian side informed Interpol of his detention, - the press service of the regional police department.

However, the source told reporters that the detainee is the former deputy chairman of the board of the bank "Finance and Credit" Oleg Shapkin. However, there is as yet no official confirmation of the identity of the detainee.
