Lviv region on August 27 opened a monument to People's Artist Bogdan Stupka in Kulikovo, Zholkovsky district. This is stated in the message of the Lviv regional state administration.
According to him, the opening of the bust in the homeland of the actor is timed to the 76th anniversary of his birth.
It is also reported that the participation in the celebrations was taken by the Minister of Culture Yevgeny Nishchuk.
Stupka was born on August 27, 1941, in 1999-2001 he was Minister of Culture and Arts, in 2011 he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, died on July 22, 2012. This is reported by the Ukrainian News.
