The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine is investigating a possible evasion of the deputy and asked the court to authorize an investigation. As stated in the decisions of the Pechersk District Court of Kiev, the Prosecutor of the GPU on August 7 of this year appealed to the court asking for an unscheduled inspection and obtaining temporary access to things and documents in the framework of the investigation of criminal case No. 42017000000002380, opened on July 24.

The court granted the petition of the prosecutor and allowed to withdraw from the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption all the Khomutnnik declarations for 2015-2016, clarifications on the clarifications in the declarations, as well as the unique key certificate registration number. In addition, the court allowed the appointment of an unscheduled documentary tax audit of Homutynnik, which will be conducted by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. Check documents will be from 1998 to 2016. If the suspicion of the GPU is confirmed, a deputy suspected of deliberately evading taxes on a large scale expects a fine of 15-25 thousand tax-free minimums with confiscation of property.
