The rules for flying unaccompanied minors will change

Now children have the right to fly unaccompanied from five years, whereas now - from two.

This was reported by the press service of the State Aviation Service.

As early as June 16, the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) adopted the corresponding amendment.

"According to the adopted amendment it is assumed that minor children have the right to travel unaccompanied from the age of 5 (now from 2 years). The amendment comes into force from October 23, 2017, "- said in the message of the State Aviation Service.
