As reported by Duma, last Sunday since the morning the boulevard was cordoned off by the police. According to Dmitry Golovin, the head of the State Unitary Enterprise, the rule of law provided more than 500 policemen.

Participants of the Equality March were brought by special buses. By the way, unlike last year, when the transport was provided by the mayoralty, in this the participants of "Odessa Pride" searched for it themselves.

"The potential of Odessa is, first of all, tourism, as well as medium and small business," organizers told Pride. - And we do not believe that the city can flourish, when some social groups, whether it's related to sexual orientation or gender identity, do not feel safe. The same situation applies to many social and ethnic groups ".

The march was attended by more than 140 people. Representatives of the LGBT movement from Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Kiev, Lviv, Chisinau. There were even people from Munich. 14 volunteers coordinated the actions of the participants and were supposed to help cope with the panic in case of an attack.

Having formed a column, the march participants set out on a route surrounded by two rows of policemen and national guardsmen. However, they did not manage to reach the end point - the Odessa City Hall.

Near Duke, they were blocked by activists of patriotic organizations headed by Demyan Ganul. Police lined up with a cordon, dividing opponents. The parties started exchanging screamers.

"Patriots" shouted: "Pi. Sy, Ukraine ponad usse and Golubyatnyu ghet. In response, LGBT representatives chanted: "Glory to Ukraine, headline - glory", "Odessa without homophobia".

The "patriots" were joined by anti-Maidan supporters. They shouted: "Odessa without pid ... s, Odessa is a hero city".
