The rector of the Ural State Mining University Nikolay Kosarev resigned. Since August 11, the duties of the rector will be performed by Alexey Dushin, who previously worked as first deputy director of the UMMC Technical University. Today it will be presented to the staff of the university, according to "Euro-Asian News".
It is already known that the new rector plans to reduce the number of vice-rectors to five people. Under Nikolai Kosarev there were seven. From the old structure in the mountain there will be only two - Niyaz Gadym Ogly Valiev and Sergey Frolov.
The agreements with the rest have been terminated since the termination of the authority of the administration. Nikolai Kosarev himself, most likely, will remain in the university as a rector adviser.
Recall, Nikolai Kosarev said that he wrote a letter of resignation in June 2017. About two months the request was considered by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Dushin's candidacy was recommended to the government by the government of the Sverdlovsk region.
